SCT Headache....

Well I got my tunes from Torrie today loaded them into the SCT with 2 vin slots available and when I go to load it in the truck I get a wrong vehicle return to stock message?
I just finished taking the BG out to send off to Venomous and returned the Stock pcm back in the truck...
Does this mean the guy I bought it from never returned it to stock which he says he did, or is there something wrong along the way?

dont knwo bro, but sounds like his vin may still be in there, allyou may have to do is clear his info, but I would shoot horrie a email right quick an see what he says:)

I'm trying to communicate with him thru email....

mine also messed up with me like this.. sometime if the tune dosn't download just right in the SCT it won't load them at all it'll give you a error.. all you have to do is reload the tunes
 
It's saying wrong vehicle and all the tunes said written successfully... I'm waiting on torrie to get back to me...
In device info it says aftermarket leading me to think he never returned it to stock???

that is one thing that truely sux with torrie, fugger want answer the phhone:argh: :argh: :argh: he is way to techy geeky:D
 
Hopefully the good luck I received yesterday will wear off on to you. I see you have a bad ass system in the truck. I'd make sure it is completely off because I know on GM the computer MUST stay above 12.0 volts during the download or it'll be incomplete. Hopefully that's your issue. I'd let it idle for a minute and get the volts up and then kill it and start the process of the download. Remember I know jack about these trucks though but most PCM/ECM/BCM want to see 12.0 volts to operate correctly. Hope it works for ya.

Just responded to me and of course moterh of effin hell he said the guy did not return to stock and I either have to have him put it to stock or send it off to SCT....
Problem here is the guy probably sold his truck and can't return to stock or locate the new owner to have him return to stock or he just sold this without any knowledge of it at all...
So if I can't find him only option is to send to SCT and have them unlock for $150 i can't spend right now on this crap......
I'm so pissed I could punch a hole thru the computer screen right now but that wil cost money too, 5 years ago I woulda puched a hole thru this sh*t

Looks like I'll be riding around with no tune until this guy gets back to me if he ever does?
And I sold my BG stage 2 and I'm a man of my word so i'm not backing outta that deal either!

tell torrie I have sent him enough customers to make more than a few payments on that viper of his and to help your ass out or I am gonna cut chubby off from callinghim:D

LOL....:D I've been communicating with him and he said SCt would have to unlock it for $150...unless the guy (srtmaniac) returns it to stock, so srtmaniac if you're reading this help a brother out man and return this puppy to stock!
My karma seems to work backwards:D ...lol

Sorry to hear about this, I love reading the OMFG this MF'er is a hoss with this tune.... Then you get the, "this is how this thing should have come stock"

Man let me know how I can help! Send it to SCT and let me help out with unlocking it or something if you can't reach this guy. This is such an awkward turn of events.

On a good note I printed the label for the stage 2 and have it ready to go to BG for you... I'll pm you the track info so you can have it! It's your turn to enjoy some speed man:rock: :rock: :rock:
