I got a used sct tuner, and when I try to program my 10 it says turn key on then it says Vehicle Change Count Exeeded, when I turn the key on. Just wondered if anyone could help me out. My local dealer was closed today and I'm stuck.

But I am pretty sure that it has to be returned to SCT to be unlocked (I think $150 ) This is the little snafu that persuaded me to NOT buy one used.
Maybe others on here will have better info,but that is what I have been told.

Not sure but it sounds like it has the last vehicles Stock program. If it wasn't put back to stock (the previous truck it was used on) you won't be able to use it.

I have a "recycled" SCT with Marty's/KRC tunes on it. On mine, it's three strikes and your out. I'll still be able to sell mine if/when I'm down to it as I have one Vehicle Change left.
SCT/the tuner of your choice should be able to fix it, but most likely it's gonna cost you a bit...

Even if it was returned to stock by the seller (not calling them a liar) if it was the third truck that it was used on and you're number four you're gonna need to get it reset...
Check with Sean Roe to see if you can get around having to send it back to SCT...
