Just waiting for the Belangers headers and catless mids to come in now. Hopefully I can run the 93 octane tune with the highest octane we get at the pumps here (92 octane).

Has anyone run the 93 tune with only 92 octane safely? Wish we had 93 over here.

I don't think its a good idea, do you have a 91 octane tune as well?

With my 91 octane tune, on 91 octane gas I still get some pinging issues at the top of 3rd gear. You can test it out easily enough though.

Yeah the low is a 91 octane, the mid is a 93, and the high is a 94+.

You think I would have to mix some higher octane in to run the 93 on 92?

Probably, I've still gotten some pinging using octane booster and 91 octane. I'm thinking about getting some Torco and trying again.

I'd definitely try the 91 octane tune first. It may still ping as you are leaning your mixture with the headers and exhaust, if it does just shoot Marty or whoever tuned your sct an e-mail.

Gonna go hit up the dragstrip one more time before I put anything on though, since I missed the labor day drags there's no rush now, gonna take my time. Hopefully the night outlaw dragraces isn't rained out this month. Temps should be good and lots more chances to get allot of passes in then the regular daytime drags.

Cudajohn what octane booster are you running? Have you tried mixing in some 100~ octane?

Mopar you have the Belangers too if I'm not mistaken right? B&B exhaust behind it I think it was, right? Are you running catless mids or mids with cats?

I run my 94+ tune from ROE on 93 pump gas and you know what I found? When I am running 65 mph on the freeway and I slam her into third while applying maximum throttle, it makes me smile every time...

i've got the complete b&b exhaust with catless mids & sct 93 oct tune from krc performance = 462 rwhp, 12.9 1/4 mile.......
