SCT Tuned with Roe SC

Well fellas, it has been done with great results. Sean tuned the truck with the SCT tuner, along with the help of a gentleman named Torrie(sorry don't know Torries last name?), and I have been driving it for a week now.

Sean installed a stand alone Meth injection system and removed the VEc tuner. The truck is running fantastic!! Feels much stronger down in the lower RPM's and feels much smoother. I have also noted a considerable increase in gas mileage!:rock: I have three tunes, 93 w/meth 93 wo/meth and 91. Have only used the 93 w/meth so far.

The MAP sensor needed to be changed from a 2 bar to a 1 bar sensor. They used an SRT-4 Map sensor in mine!!

Hopefully Sean will chime in and answer any Technical questions. I am sure this will be an option with the blower purchase if desired.

Well that makes installation of the Roe SC even quicker without having to splice into all those wires with the VEC's. Very cool Marc.

A big plus there, I have to agree!! I know I would never attemt to splice into the main harness!! Scary!!

Looks alot better under the hood also!

I can wash the truck without so much worry too!

This is why I have never purchased a Vec product. Not that they dont work great, I just never wanted to splice into all those wires..............way too scary for me!

Yep with the in cab extension it's alot more secure!!:rock:

no cab extension, just solderd short extensions on the main cable and routed them in a watertight box in the spare batterie carrier.( 3 smooth cables with 12 wires in it ) . Complete Roe package go's in the box and conects there with the supplied connections.

Making the solderd connections on the main is sure not scary... just take your time , number wires and do it one by one... :rock: :rock:

Yep, dyno tuned, not much better than the Vec tune maybe 20 more ponies but they also installed the Roe Throttle Bodie so that I am sure added a few.

I believe it is right at 555-560 RWHP. I am running 4:88's and have heavy wheels, this is probably the reason for not being around the 600hp range.

when i bought mine, Roe was not sure yet and certainly not the Meth ... but i see here there is now a standalone for the Meth... o well... i don't even use Meth

I'm i wrong or is the SCT gonne give more possibilitys ? Perhaps easyer as you don't need a card ? :dontknow:
