if it is for a 5.7 i dont think it will work on an 06 10 ,,,would work on a 06 hemi though

i thought all the SCT's were the same, and it was the tune that made it work for each truck, but the handheld unit was the same and you could just buy a tune for what you need?

I believe you are correct. They may be different for certain makes (dodge, etc) but I think you can use it as long as you drop in a SRT-10 tune.

The tuner works for both 5.7 and the srt10. If you go on sct site when you go into the specs it lists the vehicles that the tuner works on and hemi vehicles are listed as well as srt10 04-06.
