SCT tuner

Anybody know where I can get a SCT tuner for less than 600 bucks.

understand that it will have to be unlocked for ~$125.00....... the tunes (if there are any) could be used if you have a like minded truck (year, rc/qc,..)...... otherwise, roe or other vendors could send ya tunes for ~$200.00 for a worst case total of $475.00...... not bad considering a new sct & tunes is closer to $700.00.

Ya it should still be way cheaper than $600 even with having to send it to SCT to be unlocked.....

Check out torrie at unleashed tuning. Sell for around $500-550 brand new with tunes plus unlimited support.
Also the unlock cost $150 from SCT I was about to go down that road but not worth it considering you can get a new one for almost same price.

Not quite... Hed only have $300ish in it getting it from me and havin it unlocked....:dontknow:

Possibly if the tunes are already on it and can be used for his truck too. If not there's another $200 = $500 total investment

you'd still have to/want to get tuning from someone you can trust on our trucks like roe or dc performance.... that means another ~$200.00 added to the price...... BUT, still not a bad deal, under $500.00 total....

I bought a used one that was locked because it had been used on 2 or3 truck. I sent it off to get unlocked, and when I got it back there were no tunes. I'm not sayin this is what happens in all cases, just something you might look into. If you could have it unlocked and keep the tunes then that's a great deal! Also if you had it unlocked and had the truck dyno tuned you would still save some$$$!

Thats what Im saying.. I believe torrie can unlock it then you could have him tune the truck and only be $500 deep...

Got to go back to SCT to be unlocked...dont know if they leave the tunes in but I sure wouldnt use an unknown tune.....once back from SCT have Torrie email a tune made for your truck........
