Finishing my 3rd ceremony(so far) in full ASUs this morning I thought fit a second, "man I am so hot", then thinking about all the first responders and firemen in full gear who lost their lives!? It is not hot out here... We will never forget!

Forgot!

Set mine to halfstaff early this morning. On the way to lunch had to stop at the town firehall and remind them it was 9/11 and halfstaff. Embarressed they went out and took care of matters. Surprised me that firefighters would forget. I'll give them the benifit and say they were busy on calls. We have a really good and well equipped department here with dedicated firemen. 9/11 changed all our lives and we will never forget! God Bless

Wish I were home in the states for this day. It's been 13 years. Amazing. 13 years ago on that Tuesday morning I'll never forget rushing across the 59th Street Bridge from Manhattan into Queens thinking that first plane was just an accident.. Until, the newsflash came through about the 2nd plane and the Pentagon. Yeah, I certainly will NEVER forget..
