i believe that since our keys have chips even if someone had a mold of your key it would not work cuz the comp has to recognize the chip and since there wouldn't be one in the copy it wouldn't start the truck

My understanding is, When you use a key without the chip ( or other item ) it will start, But only run for a few seconds then die. Is this not true?
