Shift Kit

I did a search with little luck.:dontknow:
I have an 06 QC. A friend was telling me that a shift kit would change the RPMs the tranny would shift at, and also make it shift harder and faster. If you couldn't tell, I don't know much about it. Would it help my 1/4 mile time? Worth the $$? Waste of time? Thanks for any info you can give me.

Yeap Its called the Trans-go Shift kit. BUt First Dude you need to get The STAGE 2 Flash!!!! The flash will raise the shift points and redline every gear+40 more hp And it will work well with the trans go. Remember are trucks are choked up beacuse of torque management to protect the tranny. I think you will be more satisfied with the stage 2 than the shift kit.

You can Probably ask a good tranny tech to adjust the line pressure to get better shifts. Old Guy has a Trans Go. Pm him

I will be getting a SCT... just making a list for when my other car sells.:bebored: Would having the SCT make getting the shift kit pointless? or would it still help?

a shift kit would help, along with adjusting the bands in the clutch, the sct does alter some of the shift points, but anytime you can shorten the lenght of shift you extend the life of the tranny I think if you pm 1qksrt he can lead you to the correct shift kit for ya
