I posted this in the performance section because of the difference it made.

I installed a Hurst T handle six months back for a change of look. It looked cool and shifted ok until the other day. I was waiting in a parking lot and was cleaning up the center console and found the stock ball. I decided to put it back on. Well to my surprise I could not believe how easier shifting came. Now I wasnt having any misshift problems, what I mean is, the ball is just so much more comfortable for shifting. I feel like I got a new truck again!! Its weird but I know some of you guys have mentioned this same thing before.

Anyway, stock ball rules.........at least until I get my red viper knob!! LOL

I'm torn between the ball and the Ripper handle. With the ball, you can "palm" it into third, which really makes for some fast shifting. But the Ripper is just more fun to drive.
