Shooting in Butte, Montana

Shotgun preteen vs. illegal alien Home Invaders Butte, Montana November 5,
2006

Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably
believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11 year old Patricia Harrington
after her father had left their two-story home.

It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana and
Patricia had been a clay shooting champion since she was nine.

Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front
door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and grabbed his 12
gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun.

Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the first to
catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old's knee
crouch aim. He suffered f! atal wo unds to his abdomen and genitals.

When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left
shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death before
medical help could arrive.

It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45 caliber
handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That victim, 50-year-old
David Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the chest.

Ever wonder why g ood stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, or ABC
news....

Now that is Gun Control

Way to go, Patricia. You are, and always will be, one of the good "guys".

TEACH YOUR CHILDREN GOOD GUN AWARENESS AND CONTROL... ALWAYS have a family plan for a home invasion.... It could happen to you one day.

Well, that's ok.... The Snopes page DID confirm two other acts of heroism by young kids in the face of danger/certain death.
I read the Invasion story once before and somebody else pointed out the Snope's rebuttal. That's how I knew the story hadn't been confirmed.

I love shotguns.....too bad most people don't know they are 100% lethal at close range.

We also need a snopes for snopes..........

Besides, "I'm Spartacus".............

I for one pray it's not true. I could really give a flying f*ck about the bad guys, but killing two people would be something that that 11 year old girl would have to live with the rest of her life.

For 99% of the population, having to kill someone in a situation like that would be pretty traumatic.

I hear ya, John....

But, not as traumatic as being the one killed.........

Better that she be victorious than for evil to prevail.

But the satisfaction of knowing that you not only defended yourself and your freedoms, but the (or any other) victim (s) shall be vindicated would have to ease the pain !!! It's nothing we don't ask of our troops !!! And I'd still have to stand by Chalk one up for the GOOD GUYS !!!

Let me see if I can rephrase what I was trying to convey.

I pray no one ever has to kill another person in that kind of situation. If faced with kill or be killed situation I would not hesitate to kill. However I believe I would still be haunted by having to do so.

And comparing this to our troops is totally different. By joining any branch of the service you have to realize going in that you may be required to kill. You train for it the best you can, but even then the long term effects may be more than you can handle.

Not so different than a lot of the other kill stories told on the Internet....

A little Truth...

A little Fiction
