Does anyone here show there 10? I joined a local car club yesterday and am looking forward to attending some shows. Just wandering if anyone else is into showing their truck. I've only attended one meeting but so far I like the group. I look forward to educating everyone about SRT10s in my area.

Drove the Ten down to a local car clubs show. They allow all makes and years. I parked just outside their show area. I got three steps from the truck when the guy monitoring the show parking area asks if it has the Viper engine. I answered him and took two more steps. He then said "Pull that thing in here. Put it next to the Chevelle." So I pulled it in and popped the hood. Got a lot of looks and saw a lot of people taking pics of the truck and engine. My brother in law has a '54 GMC pickup. He said he practically had to beg them to be let in to show his truck. He couldn't believe my red carpet treatment.

took mine to a local show last year...i live in a small town so this was pretty kool. entered both my trucks and my 99' ram 4x4 ( super charged iron v-10) won best truck...go figure:dontknow: :D by all means enter it,you'll get a lot of attention:rock:

I may show my truck at the Mopar event this fall at Bristol Speedway.....I drove the truck into the show area in 2007 to talk to a buddy who had an SRT8 in the show....his son-in-law asked me to pop the hood which I did....I was actually pushed out of the way by the crowd that gathered around the truck...

I bought mine to show. I have done 3 shows so far in 2 months and I placed 2nd last weekend. I hope to get a 1st place soon. These are all in state shows but I think attention to detail goes along way. I have Husky liners for floor mats then I put my stock mats in at the show. I carry around my cleaning supplies in a tool box (ask Cowboyup). :D

The first show my 10 was in was a trip. I had at least 30 people want to see the hemi...

I took first place in my first show for trucks 70 and up.

They day I bought my truck, a bunch of friends were at a car show waiting for us to get there, they called and said they had saved me a spot to park in the show.

I showed up, parked the truck, popped the hood and had a crowd, won best truck.

No prepping for the show, show cleaning or anything, go figure.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll do more shows when I get time. I feel like a Viper truck teacher!!!!!!!!!!

Everybody is different. It's best to get to know the judges and ask what they look for. Sometimes they will talk to you. Some shows the participants vote on the cars so whatever stands out the most.

I would say:

Cleanliness
Themed mods (tasteful)
Little standouts (like a model that looks like your truck)
Making your vehicle part of a theme (a movie it was in)
Well presented documentation (window sticker/brouchures)
A girl with a bikini standing beside it (maybe not for judges but take a pic so I can see).

Well heard!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like the bikini idea. That would be a good idea even in the garge!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup I do. Love the faces of people looking at that engine. Is that Factory? "Why yes it is!"
