Side view mirror...

I broke my driver side mirror lens out backing it into my small building. Tires were wet and made me slide sideways spinning on vinyl floor. Now I have to find the best solution...Can you purchase only the lens and not the whole mirror? What is the best way to take it off? Where is a good place to purchase?(lens and/or mirror)

From my past experience in selling parts, the mirror (glass) itself is usually available without having to purchase the entire assembly. (Keyword: usually.)

Yes you can get just the glass from any auto glass business. Now here is the important part, that piece of glass glues to a plastic backing plate. That backing plate doesn't come with the glass, so your backing plate must be reused.
