Silverback's family at UPS

Damn, the truth is out, so I guess I may as well fess up.:(

I'm really not an engineer at The Boeing Company guys. That's me on the far right in the picture on top of the UPS truck.

I'm the 3rd shift dock manager at the Seattle warehouse. That's why I stand up on the truck so I can see what the rest of the apes are up to. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to manage that group. Hell, if someone doesn't get their banana at lunch all hell breaks loose. Shit flies everywhere.

As long as I'm confessing, I may as well go all the way. I really have not escaped from the zoo. The zoo contracts us out as heavy lift labor. Can you believe it. They charge UPS $45.00 an hour, and what do we get? God damn bananas. And guess what, they are left overs from the stores that they can't sell.

Well, I have to assume that since you all know the truth now, that I'm no longer welcome here. I really enjoyed myself while I was here, and thanks for making me feel almost human.

Bye:bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

DAMNIT, DAD!!!!

Now everyone knows! :banghead: We had a good thing goin.... when you said you were an engineer, it made us ALL look smarter! :( Now everyone knows where just a bunch of dumb apes slinging poo and/or boxes. :(

Oh well... :dontknow: So, Jerry (bottom left w/ the baseball bat) was PISSED that someone stole his banana for break today. :p Don't tell him it was me, umKay? :2in1:

THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FEED THE ANIMALS...:D :D

STEFAN....:smokin: :viking:

All John has to do is grab every X-metal box that comes through and take them home.

In no time he will have the baddest truck around.

Bill.

1: I worked at UPS for a holdiay season a few years back... I started as an unloader and moved to clerk in 2 weeks... I can tell you first hand... boxes get damaged due to the amount of time that the unloaders have to clear a truck (those grey UPS 3/4 semi's) if memory serves me correctly needs to be empty in ~54 minutes

The easiest way to clear that truck is to remove boxes in the middle and let all the ones on the top fall on the track... (there are rollers built into those trucks... the trick is to maximize the fall rate... get 10 boxes to fall on the track by pulling 1 :D... like it or not, that's what happens... as a clerk I did damage reports and address corrections <only part of what I did> the damages that we did never ceased to amaze me.. with little or no accountability:dontknow:

2: Silverback I didn't know you were an engineer for Boeing... I worked at the c-17 plant here in long beach for ~ 5 years :p... based on that info you should KNOW that the wing is a worthless p.o.s.

I have never worked on any high wing cargo planes to know the specifics of their wing issues. I do know however that everyone has fatigue issues regardless of who the manufacturer is. I'm assuming it has to do with high stress points along the load paths as the loads are more concentrated due to the area they have to work with.
