Skiing in NC with Dan

Joy and I will be skiing for the first time. Viperlady is teaching me. This should be interesting.
We're staying in a friends/customer's house in Maggie valley.

Actually, Alisha had to take over teaching me. Dan sucks as a teacher. Although he was awful close to Joy while he wAs teaching her.:dontknow:

Where did you go boarding at? Me and some of my friends want to go snowboarding this up coming winter and have been looking for places to go (mostly around nc) but all the slopes and ski parks reviews suck.....

we just went to cataloochee....in maggie valley...

but if you've never been, then you won't know the difference...it's easier to get your feet wet closer to home...for when you bust your ass

Hmm can't say ive heard of it, ill be googleing it to see! I hav't been in some years so i dont think ill be looking to go straight to the black diamond hills! I'll save that for after lunch
