Sadly, The season is over for my Viper Truck. I have fluid pouring from the Bell housing of my transmission every time I pump the clutch. All signs point to a bad slave cylinder. My dad and I will be pulling the Trans soon to replace it. We will be doing it on the floor of his garage. Any advice? I have never pulled a trans before. Is a trans jack a necessity? Should I replace the clutch while i'm in there?

I had the same problem in January. Pulling the trans in my driveway with no lift took about 30 minutes or so. I changed clutch but only bc it was microns from digging into flywheel upon visual inspection. I suggest getting a mopar slave. I got mine from partsonlinenetwork.com. Great service and fast shipment. The clutch I got from jtsvp(southbend brand). I didn't replace flywheel but I did clean it with scratch pad for drill as it was well within clutch specs for wear.

OEM is the best way to go.
