Wanted to do a unofficial statistical survey on how many people have replaced their clutch master/slave cylinders.

I didn't vote because I'm still running my stock clutch. However when I do change my clutch I will change the master/slave cylinder, no doubt about it.

centerforce/fidenza flywheel combo is wicked! I bought my truck used and the clutch felt marginal....it was my first mod since i knew I'd be raggin on it from the get-go!

If you drag her, the stocker will burn up!!! Unless you launch like at a street stoplight, hard launches are wicked hard on the oem unit. Enough of these hard launches and it just burns up!

Which clutch and slave cylinder is suggested for the replacement?

^^ What Bill said.

I had asked BOOMER about changing the salve cylinder without changing the clutch, but he told me the trans has to come out to get at the slave, so you might as well do the clutch at the same time.

I'm not sure if it's good or bad, but my clutch is working good for now. Though, I simply can not powershift 3rd gear with any confidence. I just hate the idea of replacing a clutch just for that.:dontknow:

FWIW, my truck has about 7,500 miles on it as of now.

I would be interested to know what the results of this poll would be if only '04 owners responded.:alberteinstein:
