Well it seems my ASA certified mechanic that i had set aside to do the slave swap is MIA.

So how do i go about gettting the broken slave out and a stock one in??

I guess you start by undoing the shifter.
Then undoing the rear drive shaft at the differential.

Do i also need to take it off the tranny end? How?

After taking the tranny brace bolts out-

Which bolts do i undo to get the slave out?

How does the slip disconnect on the slave come apart?

Thanks for the help.

just unbolt from the bellhousing. 6 bolts, No need to drop the bellhousing and it is easier to get back in. (especially if your doin it by yourself.)

Remove the shifter.
Remove the driveshaft.
Remove wires going to transmission (2 plugs if I remember right).
Remove bolt on top side of transmission that secures the fuel lines to the transmission.
Remove the line going to the slave by pushing the plastic piece into the connector and pulling the line out.
Put a small 2X4 piece of wood between engine oil pan and crossmember.
Remove the 6 bolts holding the transmission to the engine.
Hold the transmission somehow, 2 people or some type of jack.
Remove the 2 bolts securing the transmission mount to the crossmember.
Remove the 4 bolts holding the transmission crossmember to the frame rails.
Remove the transmission.
Look into the bellhousing and remove the 2 bolts holding the slave to the transmission.
Remove the slave cylinder.

NOTE: If installing the upgraded hydraulics make sure you install the shim when installing the new slave.
