That would be my raptor shiftlight....purchased May 05!!!! Install was very simple via the great pics and instructions via previous members. I could not find them on this site, so I procured them from the NFFF site. I used velcro to attach the light to the steering wheel column. Used some wiretaps to attach the wires. Why does Raptor wrap the wires in that black jacket when we have to strip 90% of the f#cker off?:dontknow: Light works perfectly, but something I will have to get use to as I always keep one eye on the tach when I into the fun peddle.
The JMB traction kit (stage 1) was very simple to install. First impressions are, you cant even tell its there with normal driving. It did not affect normal handling/ride at all. I was not able to really test it launching yet. But at a few stoplights its felt like the rear end squatted more......but at another light, the 4.88's and a crosswalk got the best of me and spun like a sumbitch!!
Install was done with my 04 z06 mechanic friend. We attempted a raptor install on his vette but.......it was way more complicated than mine, so we gave up. Any of you z06 guys install one and have any tips for him, let me know. He gave me my first ride in a z06........man that thing has a traction problem just like us.......he was spinning in second and third gear!!! Engine sounds awesome from inside.
