Smell rich exhaust in the cab

Looks to me like you have some JMB catless mids, and it appears you just need 3" exhaust donuts and exhaust studs since it looks like they torched them off. The donuts go where the pipe is expanded on the end.

You should also take a look at the fuel pump on top of the tank. I had a similar issue in August; gas smell in the cab. It turned out to be a fuel leak due to a crack in the fuel pump unit. There was gasoline leaking on top of the tank around the pump. I had to get a new fuel pump installed. The problem began as a slow starting issue (took 5-7 seconds of cranking to start instead of 2 seconds).

Any idea where I can find the 3" donuts for the catless mids? The dealer said they'd reinstall once I was able to find the gaskets to make the seal.

I just did a quick google search and came up with this. I am not saying this will definitely work but you need something that looks like this.

American Classic Truck Parts Inc.

Yes exactly like that!! It would be better if you can physically match it up at a local auto parts store.

I'm still trying to understand how these plug into the stock manifold (where the leak obviously was.) Does the donut go past the flared up piece of metal and sit against the bracket? You're certain it's a 3" donut?

I'm guessing by the look of the pipes that they are JMB's

SRT10 3" Mandrel Bent Midpipes, JMB Performance

Maybe contact Justin at JMB and see what he uses.

Justin said there's no gaskets required in his install. Am I missing something?

Looking at the pics you posted there is a flared end of the pipe where the flange is. Did the dealership give you the gaskets back or just the pipes?

I don't think you are too far away from me. Maybe we can get together one day and I can take a look at it for you.
