My SRT-10 has 2 years left on the 3yr/36k warranty. So I do not know what maintenance it has had in the 7400 miles of it's life. I wanted to take it to a dealer local to me in Downey, Ca. I need the oil changed and want the bands adjusted and the mag-hytec installed. I talked to Joe at Westminster trans and he said dealer should do it since it has the warranty. Anyone had luck at Cerritos Dodge? I remember when the Viper came out and they wrecked it on the 605 during a mechanic test drive. With all the Dodge dealers closing shop around me I want to find a dealer I can trust.

I'm not sure if there are any you can truly trust. I would do my best to at least watch them do the work as much as you can. Also, see if they have a certified Viper technician there. Our local dealer sucks bad they don't have a certified Viper technician and they hate to let you watch them do any work. They tried putting to much oil in my truck (looked up a 1500 on their computer and were going to put in 11 quarts), they cut my both of my front tires putting it on their rack that was to narrow for the wide tires .......... (that cost us around $1,000.00 to replace them and get all the road hazard warranties, etc). Oh, they also opened my door to far and poked holes in the rubber door seal and refused to fix it under the warranty. They would not replace the tires either. I could go on and on    If you keep an eye on them you might be ok. The worse thing they almost did was to drive it through their automatic car wash when they were done working on it, you know the one with all the mud and dirt in the recycled water

Good luck ..........................

Cerritos Dodge did me in on a documented repair that I brought in my 04 Durango 2x on a flatbed. They said oh no problem we just disconnected the neg batt cable and it was fine. So I take it for the dash recall and this time I found the TSB for my no starting condition...Well they said so sorry no warranty and your extended warranty will not cover. I called the rep and he said same. 700$ later for something they knew I left.

That is why I do not want to go to them. I am hoping a SRT-10 owner near me can steer me right.
