Just two questions, im planning on doing them tomorrow. My first question is which is easier to do go through the wheel wells or from the top. I will be doing this in my garage on a jack and stands no lift. Also for the regular cab do i need the O2 extender to lengthen the wire

What about the extensions, the headers are mopar if that makes any difference

With a lift it took me about 4 hours... You will need extensions for the front
02 or will need to extend them yourself.. rears will be fine. Wheel well need to come out. The will drop in from above ,left side is a bit tricky got to wiggle aroud and stuff

I highly recommend the Stage 8 header fasteners. Neither Tinygiants or I have had to re-torque since our header installations.

When I did my headers, I found it was much easier once I realized that loosening up the motor mounts and lifting up the engine helps a lot. I believe disconnecting the stock manifold from the down pipe was the most difficult (and it's even pretty easy with a few extensions)

also, make sure to take off the battery cable! My starter and my header made contact and it was a scary light show under there.

another thing, Make sure to wrap or re-route the wiring harness below the drivers side header. the starter wire (+12v) is under there. On my QC I also had a shift cable there that needed to be tied back. the headers get really hot and you may smell some buring plastic or rubber if you forget to tie those back.

hope that helps!
