One point made in this video...the top 25% of students in China equal more students than we have in the States! Just imagine what that means for the future...more data like that on this vid...if you are or have been a teacher this is very challenging info...most won't care...some will be amazed.

Thats why U and I dissagree on education . At this rate we will be a 3rd world country by the time it all shakes out . If I spend the time to learn I prefer to learn something others dont know not what grandpa was learnt.
Unless we drop the ego and arrogant idealism and take off the rose colored glasses we will finish last . We teach what was ,they teach what will be and education is something many talk the talk but they will not put the effort or the money to make it happen .The world is really one and eventually it will all blend together ,,,,yup uber rich on one side and the seirf's on the other . As for the way too big of gaps in educational moneies and sports thats just insane 1-2 mil a year to play or 29k a year to teach ,and this being Texas where sports are far more important than education it sucks !
Then you can get into the worth of this country ,,it looks good till you look at the GNP and National Dept . I hear every day we are becoming the information age ,great but how many times can you sell the same info, can you eat info ,will info keep you dry ,well I guess info helps but not very filling when your hungry .This is putting what once was an independant country soley dependant on other countries just to survive
Wait till China becomes our major food supplier now thats a hold on ya . Hell most of the US farmers have gone under and the CO-OP's will soon be under priced by China as soon as thier crops start to produce . Thier fruit crops are about a year out and they have enough volume to put ever farmer in the America's (yup even Mexico is scared ) out of business
Have A Kind Day
