Wanted to pull my wheels off and neither a 7/8 or 22mm fit fully
down the lug nut. Whats everyone use socket wise?

check & see how deep your socket is. most sockets have a shoulder in them, holdin the socket back from full engagment & markin up the top of the lug nut

It's 7/8, I've had a problem on a few of mine where the little sheet metal chrome covers were bulging out and the 7/8 took a little force to get on there

I was using a deep well 7/8 socket. I didnt want to force it down any further and have a chance of pulling the chrome cover off. Guess I'll try again, Thanks Guys.

even a deep socket can be shallow:elefant::D

Avoid the issue all together and use ur tire iron. Its hiding under ur passenger seat. Fits like a glove!
