Well
I took a hit but made a 15000 dollar payment on my truck loan at the same time. Jees I wonder if that was the right move. Maybe I should have done something with the money and kept making payments

You are going to have about 1.5-2 years before you see a "gain".

James, you could invest it in a twin turbo setup for my car.:dontknow: :D I`m sure that would bring a good return....and a fast one too.:p

Maybe I should stick with the payment
Just a thought, I could make the payment and thought it might be a way to double up reletively quick. More input would be appreciated from the experts in here before they apply my payment

Well there are two choices, first how much is the payment? second you can get some good deals on funds you said and in the long term you will tripled your money.I myself you go with the mutual or the roth.

And the big question is...........what is your interest rate and how long is the loan.interest can add up to a big chunck of mula.:dontknow:

Yes where is Roy?:dontknow: I would like to hear his take on this issue.

Payment is 450/month Interest is 4.48
If I invested 15K and made my payment a couple years I "should" end up way ahead

Me too
I am trying to reverse the payment I just made on the account until I decide

If your intrest is that low,I say invest the cash you will be way ahead in the long run.

I think I just landed a job today as well and with our needs it would be enough to handle the payment and pay the remaining bills

Prof, Black other opinions as well please
I agree Earl I just want the devils advocate
