Went to start my 04 today and the starter wont engage. I unplugged the solenoid wire and jumped it and it works fine. I put a test light on the wire and it becomes hot when i just have the key in the on position. When i try to start it it becomes very dim. Any suggestions?

how's the battery voltage?

Voltage is good. I can hear the relays clicking. I swapped them, still nothing. Clutch switch seems fine, i can hear that relay too. When i unplug the Solenoid wire turn the key on and jump the starter it fires right up.

The push button could be bad, I've seen more than one fail.

The buttons should be the same.

Problem solved. A wet relay was the culprit. One of the loose ones in the harness not the fuse block. Thanks for everyones help!!!:burnout:
