Easy money with your mods. Having a somewhat similiar setup to you and comparing that with a Hemi Ram I used to own with bolt on mods, even juice isn't going to get her there. Stock RWHP is at best 280hp on the 5.7 in a truck. I'm calling 70-80hp headers and 527hp BS. It's just SRT envy.

hahahaha i ran my nitrous line on my hemi threw fake A/C lines lol in all defence of the hemi it's a very good motor that can be built for cheap and still run with the SRT-10 if the right mods and tuning are there.. i was spraying a 125 shot with superchips tuner,underdrive pulley, and headers.. an would out run my buddys QC SRT-10 all day long and it was QC for QC... an then again she had a bad problem of twisting drive shafts off the line... i love sleepers
Didn't get the chance to do a full run on a undisclosed track So originally she was going to run the Shelby but he didn't have the time, had to go back to work. So he dropped his car off at the shop and I gave him a ride back to work. She went to pick up another customer and we caught a red light.
She starts powerbraking a little bit and when the light turned green I eased into the gas so I wouldn't spin at the light. She gets a little jump on me, I need to work on my reaction time. But it did not matter. By 30 mph it was over. By the time I shifted into second I had about 4 lengths on her. Not sure if she shut it down early or what. Came to the next light and asked her if she was even trying? She told me no but I could hear her motor working hard to try to keep up:rock:

Chuck - It would be more fun to race the shelby, not the hemi. if she is putting out that kind of power ask her where she had her tranny built, if he responds with a "what do you mean". then you know it full of c**p, I have driven a hemi, mash the gas pedal and you swear you are standing still.
Me and the Shelby are gonna race. Just don't know when our schedules will allow it. I have played with the Shelby before and I think it would be a good race. Maybe I can get him to go to the track this weekend. The tires he has are crap from what he tells me. So traction will be the main issue for him.

plus she aint putting down 527hp with those stock tires, she would smoke those things up to 100mph with that kind of hp.
