I decide to change my plugs today i took out first plug and the stock plug and the new plug do not match, the stock one has a long electrod, do i have the wrong plugs, mine are shorter, NGK ZFR6F-11,,,,,thanks:dontknow: :dontknow:

what do the letters on the end of the zfr6f-11 mean, also the stock number is 4291 which i didnt see an application for our trucks ..

Wait a second. Are yours the "G" version? ZFR6F-11G or just ZFR6F-11. There seems to be a difference.

i dont think they will work, im afraid they are to short and will burn the tip off and fall into the motor and ruin it.. the number i ran 4291 does not list 8.3 srt 10...this blows...

Go with the factory Champion that it lists on the emission sticker or decal underhood on the imaginary battery box. Use that plug only in my opinion.

All the plugs listed for our trucks have a 19mm or 3/4" reach. I did a side by side and the 11 and 11g's are identical.

G under thread reach:confused:
That shows it in front of the number (11). I was looking for information on a symbol after the number as in (11G). I think the G indicates a Special Feature but the chart may be old and not show it. In any event, The 11 and 11G are identical in size and heat range and should work just fine. It's just that the 11G is recommended for our trucks.

yeah they change the numbers like computers change, almost daily, gotta run tho, gotta be in ocala fla by 10pm:argh: :argh:

The plugs you are putting in are pretty cold. Who told you to use these? NGK ZFR6F-11 are for use with a blower or turbo. Are you blown?. If not, who told you to use these? They will work though, but not the perfect plug.

Are they ok or too short?

Here is the NGKs on left and Champs on right, the NGKs are shorter, so they will sit out farther, will this make any kind of performance difference??

oh so the farther they set out the colder they are, will that make truck run lean?
