Thursday evening, the wife and I went to a meeting, when we returned home, one of our dogs was sitting out front. We went in the house and you could tell someone had broken in, but we must have gotten home in time to scare them off cause nothing was missing, except my wife's Pug.
WE've had this pug since she was 8 weeks old and we both were pretty sick about it. Our Bluetick was heart broken, his little pug friend was gone, he sat for the entire time in front of the door like he was expecting her to walk through the door at any moment, wouldn't eat, slept there, didn't move.
We put adds in the paper, posted flyers, hit Craigslist, everything and had pretty much given up any hope of ever seeing our little dog again.
At 10:00 P.M. ;ast night, we got a phone call from some guy who asked if we had put an add in the paper about a missing Pug, we said yes and he said, I think we may have found your dog.
So, we jumped in the truck, headed over there and sure enough, they had our pug. Now they live about 4 miles away, so all I can figure is that they took our pug (the a**holes who broke in), then let her loose on the other side of town.
We gave these people a nice reward and packed her up and took her back home. On the way home, the guy called and said he was going to tear up the check, he and his wife talked about it and decided they were just happy they could help and get her back to her home.
Just goes to show, there are still great people out there who are more concerned about doing the right thing and we thank them for what they have done for our family.
