Custom V8 1997 S-10, Extended Cab, 3 Door Pickup.

Once the build and tune is complete, this has been a long 8 year project, with over $20k in the motor and tranny alone, not to mention all the other stuff that I did to make it all fit... including the truck, its over a $45k investment...

305 GM V8 TPI, HPC Coated Intake.
Air Conditioning
Bored 30 over, Stroked.
Hedmann Headers, Ceramic Coated.

Crane Powermax 2040 Cam (.440/454, 114 degree lobe sep)

Sickness saw it in my garage.... at the GTG.

Goona sell of a ugh.... cringe.... $14,000, the truck by it self books fro around $6500-7000k, and I get it repainted for you... or you can get it for $12,500, and you paint it yourself.... might be willing to consider taking payments on it... to the right buyer... or maybe trade for a pair of really nice sit down jet skis....

This will be one fast little truck... will have around 400hp, and weighs in at around 2500-3000 lbs...not as quick as our vipers.. but will be quick...
 
Nice truck and good build, just one question. Why on earth would you do all that to a pig of a engine like a 305? I know it's not your normal caprice 305 but still? :)

Well.. my dad bought the block for his street rod that he never built....and asked if I would be interested in the engine for my truck.. so I got the engine and tranny for $1200.00 figured it was worth the low price... I know a LT1 or LS1 would have a good motor to have.. but this project started back in 1999 when those motors were well over $5-8k it made since.
