Well I thought today might be the day. Removed the tonneau cover and tailgate, but the weather was actually a little warmer than I wanted. Last week it was 48, today 63, with one heck of a head wind. Ran the fastest time yet, but still no 12's.

This time I tached the truck up to around 1500rpm's and it launched hard.

60' - 1.945
1/8 - 8.364
mph - 87.56
1/4 - 13.015
mph - 105.85

I lost about 1/2 a mph, but gained over .158 on the ET over my run last week. I'm certain that with a 45 degree day and the weight reduction, I will hit a 12. Still pretty happy. I did outrun a new SRT8 Cherokee. He ran a very respectable 13.3 stock, and was having problems with the motor hitting the rev limiter between the 2-3 upshift.:dontknow:

Headwind must have screwed you!! Great sixty BTW.... on street tires too!! Good job.

Yeah, I was very surprised with the 60' time. It's a 12 second truck, I just need the time slip to prove it!

I agree!! Nice runs.

Scott, what was the temp when you made your 12.7 run? Also check out my 1/8 mile speed - 87. Last week it was 84. The head wind must have really affected me. Another goof up on my part was that I forgot to take OD off. Right before I got to the line, it shifted.:banghead:

Vid is in first post.

Thanks Swift. I'm having the stock door handles painted silver so that I can compare them against the billet ones that are on now.

Way to go Ron, I'm sure you will make it next time

Nice run, I have the same mods w/o the cats, I can only hope I run mid to low 14's up here @ 8000ft. I put over one full length on my folks SRT-8 Charger and they run 14.5's up here stock.. Damn air!
