i got a call yesterday from my father in law. he's 65 yrs old and has two prosthetic legs. works full time as a jailer and works the radio in a small town in Georgia for the sherrif's office. was working saturday night and some prisoners needed something and when he went back there and got close to the cell 4 prisoners grabbed him through the bars and hit him and took the keys and excaped locking him in the cell.he was the only officer at the jail being its a small town(1 red light) if that gives you a clue. but there's a pay phone in the cell and he called the sherrif. luckily they caught three of them yesterday. my brother in law who works for a prison in the same town said they waited a while before they radio'd that they caught them. i think they tried to resist arrest so they had to be restrained. luckily my father in law said his pride was hurt more than anything. he has a black eye and one eye has some blood in it i think they kicked him in his back when they got the cell open.good news its manditory 10 yrs minimum when you assault an officer in Georgia if im not mistaken.
