Sorry I have been missing...

It was a good weekend here in the PNW. The weather was awesome for getting outside and doing the BBQ thing. I tried very hard to follow the Dr's orders and do things no matter how I felt. On Friday, my daughter and I cut the grass. It is a riding lawnmower, but it was truly quality time with her. She has been my mowing partner since she was 6 months old. On Saturday night I accepted an invitation to watch the UFC fights. I enjoyed them. By the end of the night, I was truly paying for my fun, but none the less it was fun. On Sunday I was able to attend a BBQ at a friends house, and it was like old home week. They were my neighbors when I lived in my apartment. So it was a good time. Monday, I had my daughter again, and we were able to have a great nap together and later we went to the park. I still do not have the energy to keep up, and it is really all I can do to stay verticle, but she seemed to have a great time. For dinner, we broke out the grill and cooked up some hot dogs to go with our baked beans. It was a great weekend.

I still feel poorly, but that is to be expected. Some of the side effects have led to dehydration. I am averaging 5 lbs of water loss overnight. So it takes some concerted effort to rehydrate during the day. But i am making it. I am eating and drinking enough that the net weight is about where I started at.

Glad to hear you had a great weekend with your daughter.

And how did you like this weather? I put in a special request just for you. ;) :D

Sounds like you had WAY more fun than we did over here.:p

We spent all three days working around here preparing to host a wedding and the PNW GTG. Yee haw. It's starting to look presentable at least. Amazing what a couple of seasons can do to a place.

Good to hear you're doing OK!

Sounds like you're doing well! I know people react differently to the medications. I felt the worst 3 days after the treatment, but every day after that was better. I had at least one crap weekend a month, sometimes two. But for each subsequent treatment, the side effects were less annoying in general. It'll get better. Glad to hear you were able to chill out over the weekend. Any excuse to enjoy the company of friends and family and keep the weight up is a Good Thing. To me, things like that mean so much more now then they did before. Hang in there, Dale.

4th treatment has been administered. The Doc gave me some new drugs to try to curb some of the side effects. I am also scheduled for in in process review of my progress. I will get several test done next Friday. I will get the results on the following Wednesday when I go for the next Chemo.

Thanks for the update. You just keep hangin' in there.

I'm getting really tired of seeing so much tread on those huge rear tires!

I want smoke!

Glad to hear you had a good weekend Dale. We are all still prayin for you..

Keep your strength and your will up Dale! It will be over soon, and one day it will be just a distant memory!

Can't wait to see pics and vids of you in that beast!!! We need a really good burnout video!!!! :burnout:

Friday I had some test done. Today I got the results and my next round of Chemo. The test show that everything is fine for lung and heart function. All the tumors are showing signs of decrease. There are no new tumors. And the tumors in the spleen are almost all healed with 1 exception. But it is 1/2 size.
