Not bad for a small block.;) :D

Sounds nice Mike.:) When are you going to give a driving report?:dontknow:

Working on it slowly....

Today was the first day running the canyon hard....the car corners remarkably flat and very predictable....just a hint of understeer that can be over come with the throttle...

What is most impressive is the S-curve ability....beacuse of its low weight.....side to side turns make you giggle your ass off...

Brakes are what you expect with a 2600lb car (with driver) and 13 inch rotors F...12" R.....

A T-56 with a hurst pro-comp shifter keeps you clicking away worry free.....only thing it feels like it needs is maybe a Fidenza lightweight flywheel....

With the sidepipes there is little need for the Tach once you get used to the notes....a 7200 redline and I have only been to 6500ish until Chris checks it all out

2 Stage fans 185 and 195 degree....keeps the works cool...200 is the highest I've seen although it is pretty cool...highest today was 185....

It is a race car and the suspension is stiff....the girl calls it rough....I call it "ready"....

3.42 gears in the back have me running 2600rpm in 4th at 60mph on 28" tires....6th gear would get me 30mpg on the freeway.....

Hell the thing even has a hidden stereo with a remote....thought I would never use it but the girl handed me a Jimi Hendrix CD on the way out the door today...

Couple of bugs as disclosed by the owner....pass window motor is shot and the A/C is not turning on the Radiator fan...new window motor is in the trunk and a auto fan switch is $22.00 online....

As a bonus.. we have all these Lance Armstrong wanna be's in the canyon who like to ride up hill 2 wide at 2 mph...Went by them today in 2nd at 5000rpm....did not stick around to see if they liked the music.....:D

Silver ...get the cobra.....you have earned it.....now is the time....

Sounds awesome and thanks for the great report. Almost gives me wood. :D

The Cobra is history. Bought the wife a new car. Daughter is getting married, and I promised them a down payment on a house instead of a big expensive wedding. Oh well, I still have my dreams.

Enjoy your new ride Mike.

Thanks Kris

Hey, is that vette gonna make it to the dyno shop? Why did it quit so soon

Uniquely American sound! Only in this country would there be the appreciation of a Hot Rod deep throated rumble accented with radical lobes on a well ground cam shaft.
