Looks like it's going to be a busy year... there is another tropical wave behind that one... we will be getting one every 3 to 5 days from here on out till October/ November... hope they stay under Cat 2. Remember if you have to evacuate, we have two open rooms here, were not in a flood zone, and we can stick your 10 in the garage.

While it did become a Hurricane last night, the track has shifted much more to the West, and only a slight chance remains that it will affect Florida!! Let's hope he continues on that track!

Very true.... and some are saying it could be a Cat5 by the beginning of next week. Be sure to fill up every tank/can/barrel of gas you can get your hands on NOW. If a Cat5 is in the Gulf, you can expect $6-$7 gallon gas/diesel prices soon.

My source(s) tells me that it is expected to reach Cat 3 by landfall. Landfall is expected to be somewhere near Louisiana. Hopefully that prediction is fairly accurate.
