Spark Plug Type

I have a dumb question.

I haven't removed my plugs yet. I have a new set and the new plug's crush washer appears to be tapered. So, is it safe to assume the heads are tapered? I have to order indexing washers. I just want to make sure that when I order, I order the correct type. Im still guessing at tapered. Im to lazy to pull a plug and just look.

Thanks! I pulled a plug today. It is flat. I have another question if someone can please answer...

I have the new NGK Iridiums that cross from the OEM Champions. I went to quite a few sites to get the same NGK number. I pulled the rc12ecc out and compare to the NGK. The NGK zfr6fix-11 is a WAY colder plug. There's no way its a direct cross. Anyone know why NGK lists this plug as a direct replacement?

Nope..same one. I haven't gotten an answer. Im clueless. I haven't found anything on the web either.

I went to KS Auto today to get the indexing shims and they closed at 5:00pm. SH!T
