Has anyone used SPEC Clutch and Flywheel on our trucks. I have a friend down here that works a dealer, and they've just became a vendor. He could get me a really good deal.

Yea your going to need a clutch with your new SC.

When my daughter had her Mustang they put a SPEC in it. What a piece of shit. The pressure plate fingers varied in height by over .050. Pulled another off the shelf and it was the same. Damned if the last one on his shelf was even worst.

He called SPEC and they just gave him a run around. He sent all of his SPEC stuff back and refused to use their products anylonger.

I bought the 3+ and will let you know!!

Keep me posted on the outcome. My friend put in on his SC Chevy Silverado SS. He pulled out the auto trans and threw in a T56, and he had them custom build a flywheel and clutch for his application, and he loves it. He says that the guys over there know there shit.

Thanks for the input Silver I'll keep that in mind should I decide to order from them.

Patrick (Red ) is installing an A.C.T. Clutch right now. I think he will be giving a review on it soon.

After talking with Dan, I got the feeling he didnt like Centerforce.:dontknow: Dont know why. What we need are real world reviews like from Red007. Clutch's arnt cheap and in the past we have seen some nasty bad results.

I see this is an old tread but i would like to see some light sheaded on this subject any one running this its been almost a year i sure some one has one in the truck i have a centerforce me dont likey

the SPEC stage 3's on F-body's were hit and miss at first. most of the problems came from the pressure plates and springs. not sure if they fully resolved their issues with them. but the first ones were not impressive.
