Spray in 6th?

Just wondering what the outcome would be if someone was running the mile and decided to spray N02 in 6th?

A burnt up tranny :dontknow:
An awesome top speed :dontknow:
Both :dontknow:

DO IT!!!!! I dont know for manuals but for my top speed run in my auto my stock tranny held up nicely.. I wasnt spraying though but I had alot more than a mile to get up speed

i've sprayed in 5th before for a while! and it held together nicely! just make sure everyhting is in good condition and you should be fine.. but word to the wise alot of viper cars do not like to go into boost in 5th gear because it strips out 5th gear.. so i'm assuming it's not to healthy but if i were going to run the mile i would spray 3nd 3rd 4th... let 5th gear build up and start spraying in 5th around the top end

Lol, i was just wondering what kinda top speed you could squeeze out of it with spray in 6th, in a magical land where the engine and tranny would perform perfectly with no problems, what do ya think it could do as far as top speed (give plenty of room, a mile or more)...

well i've hit 158ish in 5th gear and let me just say when you egt to 6th the truck does not want to go anymore. at all it simply will not go any faster i dno't think unless you regear 6th gear

I wouldnt recomend it on a oem engine, the stress of the pull in sixth may do damage to the weak ring lands

but then again I did on I-10 up to about 155:aetsch: :itsme:

yea ....wish i would have heard it...lets just say i havnt been to the range lately and my ak-47 would have got some good use
