with 4.56's i hit the rev limiter in 5th at 164...in 6th it was still pulling at 198, but we shut it down, as it was a 200mph dyno...

6th gear ratio would need to be regeared...it's a .5-1 ratio so, not so great for giddyupittyness....

this was on a dyno with no wind resistance....i can't remember the formula, but it's exponentially greater to move that kin of air around from 100 to 125 to 150- 175-200....literally like driving with a sheet of plywood attached to your grill...

the viper cars usually have say 3.55 or less...3.07 maybe 3.23, i'm not too familiar...but not 4.11/4.56/4.88's like the truck... so a 6th gear, hell 5th gear in a viper would probably toast the trans....
