but he got up at 6 am and waxed his truck, went in, came back out and someone had hit the rear bumper, put a scratch on the rear bumper, he had to oleave saturday morn anyway, but had jsut had his truck painted, and is real anal about his truck, anyway he decided jsut to head home, wish he had stayed

Yes, much to everyone's surprise, I left early. Like Tony said, Friday morning I woke up fairly early and was waxing the truck at 6:00. I was really looking forward to going to the dragstrip, but then found out that my convoy partner--Big Dave, had left unexpectedly. I knew he wasn't feeling well the night before, so I started to worry. So I went back down to the parking lot and discovered my truck had been side swiped. There wasn't any major damage; although the bumper will need to be repainted.

Couple these two events with the fact that I was already missing my girls, I made the decision to leave. However, like I told Tony, my main intention was to meet some of the members on the forum....I got to do that.

Sorry that I left early folks. As Ron said I wasn't feeling well and I couldn't sleep. It was heat related from the day before (Wed.). It waited till I got there to hit me. Going to the track on Friday would have worsened it so I packed it up and left. Didn't want to bother anyone at 4:00AM. Again, sorry if I caused any concern. It was good seeing old friends and meeting and talking with new ones.

Don't know if it was that bad. Borderline dehydration. I've been in the hospital before getting pumped full of fluids. I think I've headed it off this time. Staying cool and drinking Gatorade.
