Ok, I've had the opportunity to make some poker chip style chips for our
group here. They are the same size and weight as a standard Vegas Poker
chip but are not made of the same material. The first batch out was Black and Silver. A pic of the front and back are below. The front has the Viper Head with VTCOA.COM / RAM SRT-10 / NATIONAL MEET around the edge. The back has VIPER SRT-10 in the middle with VTCOA.COM and MOPAR NATS 2007 around the edge. This first batch is just as pictured. The chips are much better looking in person, the Black is nice and glossy and the Silver looks like brushed aluminum. They are selling for $10 + shipping. I am working on getting some hard plastic cases for them as well.
I will be taking approximately 14 to the NATS with me, maybe more if I can get the next batch finished in time. That batch will most likely be tri color, with red/black/silver.
Also, for anyone wanting custom writing on theirs, I can do that to.
For instance if you would like your truck number for those who have them
on the back I can do it. Example: "Truck #2442" on top of VIPER SRT-10
and "Out of 3057" under the writing. Or, you can have your name on it.
"Stretch's RAM SRT-10" or what ever. Personalization will be $3 extra
per chip. (The machine must be reset for each different chip) If you
would like something different, PM me and I'll see what I can do. After
these two batches, I will make some that don't reference the NATS for
those that didn't attend or don't want that on their chip.
These chips will make great conversation pieces or something to show
other owners that you meet to invite them to our club. Kind of like a
business card.
We've put a lot of thought and work into these, I think they turned out
very well. The Black is nice and glossy and the Silver looks like
brushed aluminum. The Red should be about the same shade as our Red
trucks and glossy as well. I will post up when those come out.
