Yea that was me. I learned a few things from those races. On the roll I put the truck either in 1st or 2nd (I don't remember). So at that high of a RPM I was at max vacuum. So it took even longer to get the turbo spooling. I should have 2 footed the gas and brake. That would have helped me on the launch. On the one from a dead stop I did preload the engine. I started in 1st and I shifted into neutral by mistake. That is the lull you see, but even then I was ahead and continuing to pull away. I would like to do it again now that I know a little better what to do on the rolling start. Plus I'm not running as rich since I put the Hi-flow's on.

that pully on the L must make a world of difference. how do you think a stock srt 10 would have held up against his truck?

hope you do not care but i posted youre vid on the L forum in the war zone section

A pullied L will win over a stock QC. But just add a stage 2 flash and it will be a good race.

looks like to me he took off before the 3rd "honk" on that rolling start!

yeah I think the L driver sucker punched him on the roll. Do over

Regardless, I really thought the turbo truck would walk the L hard from a roll. I know a L with about the same mods that runs 12.6's or so. I love your truck btw!!

Hi, I am new to the site. Does heating up the stock tires help on the strip or do they just get "greasy." I tried racing on Sunday and broke loose twice. Out of the hole and when the turbos kicked in @ 3200 rpms. Granted I am still learning how to drive it but this truck will be fun.:D

Not sure of the names, but it was from that night you were out there with me.

Ah....ok....not Casey then. I guess his L is one of the fastest trucks around.

I have alot of research to do on this site about NOS. I'm thinking wet kit 100 shot.
