There will be one more on there in about a month. Once I get mine back together.
There may be one less once a possible buyer comes and checks mine out...once the snow melts off the roads.
At the risk of beating a dead horse, The Truck always stays the same (metaphorically). It is the enviornment that changes. For example, gas goes up, lost desire, can't afford, like newer/different model, etc. BUT that doesnot change the original truck one bought,... only your perception. (wow this is Kung Fu shit) All i'm saying is don't knock the truck if it isn't for you, ...now or sometime in the future. There are 1000+ people on this website with a common thread....... 20yrs from now i'm sure everyone will have gone through some changes, but, if well cared for, your truck will have not. It will be pretty close to what it was......and for some.... what it wasn't.

I don't think the Woodhouse deal is going to affect our trucks value at all.
What they have done is put more of them on the road and hopefully cause even more people to want to buy them hence boosting the used market.

You are probably right Fatjack. In the long run these bargain buyers may have done the right thing for the wrong reason.
If it is the red 06 on eBay, there is shill bidding going on. I have been tracking it the previous three times it was listed and it never got close to 37K. If you look at the bidders, they are the same three that were bidding on it prior to this auction. I am not trying to debate you , but I am just showing this auction it is not an accurate representation of the market for this truck.joemags54 said:
Nevertheless, the truck is not for everybody and sometimes they quickly find that out and decide to dump it. I myself like it alot, only if it had an extra gear for the auto.

Went back through this thread since your update brought it to the top, and I wouldn't change a word I wrote. 2 months ago there were about 600 available. Now, less than 500. Trend? Who knows. All I do know is people do things for different reasons including buying and selling. The best thing SRT 10 owners have going for them is total production numbers and time. I haven't lost a dime on MY truck because I haven't sold it, (and paid full boat). At the risk of repeating myself, these trucks ARE unique, dare I say special. There is a dear friend of mine who restores vintage Ducati NCR bikes. (total production runs of maybe 25). He would take this truck over a Viper any day. May sound silly to some of you who posted some strong words. Does he have the last word? Is he the expert? I do respect him for his talent experience and knowledge.And it IS another "one mans" opinion. We, as current owners, buyers or sellers, should know what this truck is or isn't. No vehicle could be "everything". I bought it to "recapture" that '60's HP feel. As well, maybe oneday to show my grandkids (none yet or expected soon) what raw, take no prisoners, politically incorrect, totally over the top HP USED to be like in vehicles of my day.

I don't care if I lose my a$$ on my truck. I bought my truck in Oct of 2005 and paid more than the book value. Latter I found out I could have gotten a better deal thanks to the site. But I knew before hand sticker price and accepted the price I paid. IMO it was a fair price. The price the trucks are selling for now is an absolute steal. It is the funnest vehicle to drive. My son is counting the days he can drive it. Little does he know it will be several, several years for that to happen.
Even when gas is 8 bucks a gallon, i'm sure, for anybody with a pulse, it will be the most exciting 9 miles you ever go.
