SRT-8vsSRT-10

You could probably hit very high twelves with only a Stage II flash if the weather is right..

CAI, Stage II and Catback=12.7s on a QC with good weather...

Flying Low and myself have done it...

Yeah, I have seen some times like you post. I hope mine will run that. I'm planning on a Stage II flash and a CAI (or drop-in K&N). Not sure about a cat-back. How much louder is the Magnaflow over stock, if I keep the stock cats in place? I don't want this particular vehicle in my stable to be loud.

Oh... and I'm in N. Texas. "Good air" when the track happens to be open comes around about once every 2 years. :p

i've got headers, catless mids and the magnaflow and it's only lound when your behind it, going down the highway in side is just fine

Well...It's not that much louder unless you are stepping on it..

That's why I love the east coast weather...:D :D

I ran Stretch in his stock RC with my QC with a flash. He had no chance. A QC with a flash will take a RC unless it has a good driver. This is mainly due to how much eaiser it is launch the QC.

Good to know. I really don't expect the QC to run low-12s like my "other" truck, but a low-13 sec QC would be sweet. I'm already planning on a flash/tune and a CAI/K&N filter setup of some sort.

So was your friend in the stock RC "running you down" on the top-end? I would expect so, but I'm guessing a bit.

It was more redlight racing and just kind of messing around.

Being very familiar with the C5 and C6 Z06s myself, I was just cutting him some slack. :)

me too....just sold my 03' 50th aniversary z06....

just thought id throw that out there!

These trucks werent just made for 1/4 mile this thing at 130 handles better then a stock vetter in my opinion, also try taking a srt jeep or charger into turns like the 10, this thing will hug an on ramp at 80mph, like everyone said the only downfall is off the line with so much power. I know I pissed alot of vettes off:burnout: :burnout: :marchmellow: Drive one and you will see(RC).
