I attached several photos of my handy work with the emblem attachment. I used Chrysler part number 1-05030355AB (as printed on the box). This is the snap in SRT emblem for the Chargers and Magnums. I decided to forgo wire ties, screws, etc and went with 3M's body cladding and molding attachment tape, part number 06384. After some dry fitting, careful and strategic application of the tape and careful positioning, the emblem attached without any difficulties. The 3M tape adhered very well (with minor surface prep -- rubbing alcohol and a soft paper towel) and the emblem itself is securely fastened. It's a small mod but I think it looks like something the factory should have done :dontknow:

I want to thank all for the suggestions given via my other thread. Thanks mucho. :D

That was my second choice on where to place the emblem. When I tried to fit it though, the diamond shape of the mesh seemed to position the emblem slightly unlevel. So, to the grille it went.

Does that emblem have studs on the back of it?

Yep, 4 of them. 3 of them have a saw tooth type cut in them and the 4th is without the cut (straight with a beveled edge). There is also a small flat extrusion that extends from the emblem that helps position it in the CSRT and MSRT honeycomb grilles.

you put it .09447 inches to far to the right...other than that it looks great...I still have a custom made red SRT emblem from the my former Charger...you have got me wanting it on my truck..

Until now I always thought it would look better with a black mesh for a background. BUT, ooooh yeah I really dig the way a piece of the 'R' petrudes down into the grill rung. Now that has a stock look with craftsmanship. Me likes much. :congrats:Bravo John.

Damn, I thought I nailed it dead balls on. Oh well, at that point I was working on the 3rd beer. By the 4th beer, the emblem was level.

Thanks. I like the R placement as well. The R placement and flat black background really help the emblem to stand-out from the grill. The emblem was sized perfectly and had the proper profile to fit between the rungs. I applied small pieces of double sided moulding tape to each stud and several small pieces of tape were applied to the back of the emblem. The only thing you need to pay attention to is the length of the tape used. You don't want the tape extending beyond the emblem edges. With everything lined up, set the emblem into position and make sure all the tape surface adhere to the rung surfaces. Sit back and have a beer. That's all it took to install it.
