I know all SRT track experiences are unique, some may be more fun than others depending on the track its being held at.

So given the option to go to any track experience on the calendar this year, which one would you recommend?

thanks,

I received those invites for the SRT events from time to time. I would guess the closest for you might be an event at Pocono. (if it goes to that track) I would also guess they must all be pretty similar because of the corporate sponsorship. Just my 2 cents. I saw your thread, and decided to respond. One thing I realized early on, there is alot of activity on this site and a thread could get "lost in the sauce" pretty quick. Just keep posting! It's nothing personal, I'm sure. :)

GO TO ATLANTA OR DAYTONA.WENT TO ATLANTA LAST YEAR.WHAT A BLAST!!I LOVE THAT SRT-8 JEEP!!.O YEAH I LOVE THE SRT-8 CHARGER!!.HELL,I LOVED ALL OF THE RIDES,MAYBE NOT THE CROSSFIRE SO MUCH.KEPT HITTING MY HEAD IN THAT SMALL ASS CAR!!

While I went to Atlanta Race Way...it seems to me that the most perfect of the current offerings would have to be Daytona...just my opinion...

The reason I ask is because one of the contributors to my site offered a guest pass for me. So the event would be free. I also have a free roundtrip ticket for Jet Blue anywhere they fly.

So what better way to experience the SRT track experience than at some race track with good straightaways for some high speed driving, nice twisties for the auto X, and a drag strip....

I would be riding shotgun with the instructor because its a guess pass not the driver pass, but regardless I plan to take a crap load of pix for my web site: www.SRTowners.com I figure the SRT track experience would be much more appropriate content for the front page than the old Shelby Charger my family used to own.

I'm really leaning towards the Texas event in Augusst for some reason. I've never been to Texas so I was thinking of flying into Houston or Austin and doing some road tripping in the height of the tourist/vacation season... so there would be a lot to do. Plus one day would be dedicated to the track event in Fort Worth.

What do you guys think?

If you go, pay the fee and drive. You will regret not having done so. Mark my words, when you get in the drivers seat for the first time and the instructor says: "This is not your vehicle, these are not your tires...drive it like you stole it!" You blood will boil and the hair on the back of your neck will stand up...

Don't be on the side lines...it will be the best $500 you ever spent. The SRT 10 world is not a cheap world...but every cent spent is a pure testosterone injection!

What is this? When I bought this vehicle SRT Track experience was listed on the window sticker..?:dontknow: :dontknow:

I'm not an owner...

I will get my way into the driving experience one day.

BUT for the time being I would like to go to observe and take pictures.
Its more important for me right now because I need new content for the site.

I promise I'll do the driving experience though!

You don't have to be an owner. Anyone can go...it is a for profit marketing venture...drive, you will hate yourself for not doing so...

www.srttrackexperience.com

One day of unadulterated tire burning, side sliding, in all of the SRT vehicles...to include the Viper...some with a pro driver in the right seat, some with only you in the vehicle...usually three venues....Closed course: lot of hard turns, short straights, switchbacks...Drag strip usually very short...Oval....drive at speeds that will make your knuckles turn white...

Do a search on Track experience...

Pure Joy.......

Oh believe you me, I already did the research and one of the coworkers here did one of these in Connecticut so I'm psyched to go.

But I'm applying to law school so in case I get accepted I can't justify spending $500 on a "test drive" (I know its a lot more than that but ultimately just an intense test drive)
