Check out this link from Car and Driver. I was just poking around the net to see if there was any mention or rumor of possible SRT trucks being resurrected.
May 2008 is the date.

There are also some video links (right middle of page, under News & Reviews) and one of them shows the Red SRT-10 from here that did the test for Car and Driver awhile back.
It appears from the article that Dodge has considered or is considering yet another SRT variant of the truck and is well aware of us nuts who would buy them if they got 2 miles per gallon down hill. Just so long as we could cruise down the highway setting our hair on fire with a ridiculous engine under the hood.
