how much are you guys buying your volant CAI for and how do you like it? i was just wandering to see if i could start stocking them for other member and and see if i can be competive on price.

I personally did not buy one, but all the reviews I heard represented a generally unfavorable review....
Essentially, It was: Too much money and BS results on actual increased power numbers.
In short: Not worth the money.................... Just what I heard......

I gave $349 for mine and really couldn't tell any difference in performance from my K&N drop in filter. I could tell a big big difference in the sound of the truck. It made my truck sound incredible. I would buy another one for the sound alone.

I paid $350 for mine. The sound is killer, in my '06 quad cab it made a little more power on take off. Before it felt like it had an anchor tied to it. Frances

Mine's on the way (Apparently when UPS says "ground", it means they have one guy kick the box across the country to it's destination). It's pre-owned. I purchased it for less than $200.

Looks good. No noticable performance increase. Did not connect the center hood scoop. Blocked that inlet on the Volant off. Hood scoop was meant to blow cool air thru the engine compartment.
Dragon around $350 or less would be a good deal, but dont stock more than two or so,no need for inventory build up, but a drop in at a killer price might just move well
I have actually grown to like the volant.
On the street theres no difference, well not with many of them.
But at the track I did notice a difference in top end pull with the volant, it actually pulled strong on the big end.
The problem on the board with the volant is a vendor ( who we need not name now ) posted an increase of 35hp on the dyno, which he quoted from the manufacturer, and another vendor called bs. and so well the saga ensued
The Volant is nice, so is Mopar and the K&N, so use you personal choice, non is really gonna make you smoke pirellis thru second gear, just depends on what ya like
