Just got back from the theater with my 5 year old. I have to say it is obviously more tailored to the kids but if you are a Star Wars junkie the movie is a must see as it fills in some blanks. I would anticipate they could do another one to fill in more details. Dont know what it is but have always loved the Star Wars saga.

He sucks and ruined my childhood with ep's 1-3. Aside from Palpatine, who was always great.

I'm a Star Wars fan. I remember seeing Episode IV around 1977 when it was first released at a theater near you. Back then, and for years following, I didn't have a clue what the yellow 'Episode IV' meant during the traditional opening "paragrah floating through space" scene. I didn't find out until 1998.

Me too. I remember reading the advertisement in the newspaper....."a long time ago in a galaxy far away". I remember thinking, "what does that mean"? I enjoyed all the movies except for that one charactor in the first prequil........the rasta lizard thing with the horrible accent.......just too silly for me.

I think it would be ok because the violence that is shown is fairly benign. This coming from a father that doesn't allow spongebob for my five year old

Ewan McGregor was an excellent and almost only actor that made the recent trilogy bearable. Anakin was weak, jumped too easily to the dark side. One minute he is turning in Palpatine, next he chops off Windu's hand. Next, he's slaughtering kids????? Wtf!!!!!

Jar Jar sucked, period...

Sith was okay because we get to see vader again but Lucas even screws that up with Hayden C doing that Frankenstein walk..wtf???

I know I may come off a bit brutal on the movies, but really had so much potential and blew it. Episodes 4, 5, and 6 can never be outdone.
Lucas and co, just sqeezing every dollar they can out of us for mediocre entertainment at best.

Pray that The Hobbit resembles fellowship and we will be okay. Star wars is finished. The animated movie is just a preview of the animated series coming out. It will flop...
