i would do that but our only napa store has been bought out by orielly's and they are shut down for a few weeks. may have something worked out. would like to get them with correct ends im sure it can be done. we have a fastenal that could get the fittings.Kevan said:Eddie- You can get the brake lines at NAPA (super cheap, good quality).
The brake lines will come with matching connections on each end- either SAE or Metric.
If you get Metric lines, purchase SAE fittings separately.
If you get SAE lines, purchase (short) Metric fittings separately.
Again, super-cheap parts.
Take the lines and the fittings to the pro brake shop (Midas) and ask the manager if someone can install a couple of fittings on your lines. Make sure you clearly mark which end needs to have the new fitting put on.
Though your silver cup does instill authority and class, bring some cash and heartily tip the fellow who does the fittings for ya.![]()
dude i dont live in a metropolis, midas is a hours drive from here....lol i'm in the sticks i may have it sorted out from another member on here. if not im hoping the parts store will be back open this week so i can order them.Kevan said:It will cost a few more bucks, but just do it all at the Midas/professional brake shop.
With another flash-of-the-cash, I'm sure they can shape the lines for ya too.![]()
no but probably close, we do have a carport and autozone but they have a bunch of idiots there that have no idea about parts so i dont go there unless its absolutely necessary and then only for stuff thats not off-the-wall.Kevan said:Oh...you didn't tell me you were at Stinker's place.
LOL
